Forgive me if this has already been discussed. I am new to using Three Now as I have never really watched to Three/Discovery Freeview channels. I am using the App on our 2023 LG TV and the picture quality is just not right. Hard to explain, it is like the resolution is not correct and the image is such that it seem to affect my eyes. I can only watch for a short time. If have tried the various preset picture settings on the TV and tried fine adjustments to no avail.

What is other folks experience with Three Now?

I would say the quality is inferior to something like Apple TV+, but I watch it regularly without any major complaints.

Three Now streams perfectly well on a smaller screen (such as my 24" monitor), but I find the resolution drops for live viewing via Apple TV 4K on my Sony Bravia 43" HD TV.

Streaming their OD content does seem to be a bit hit and miss, but is mostly OK - although the quality of the content is often questionable.

Some time ago there was talk about ThreeNow being replaced by one of Discovery's global platforms. Unfortunately now it looks more likely that Warner Bros Discovery will completely pull the plug on Three and separately launch one of their global streaming services.

Three streams in 1080 25fps at 5.7mbits yes it will look bad if compared to the terrestrial feed

The "APP" on LG tvs i think is just browser based running this page lg-tv.fullscreen.nz

Not really a TRUE app

I tried these on my older LG tv and also my laptop, the only file it plays no matter what on demand item you click on is: http://d2bqeap5aduv6p.cloudfront.net/elephant_dreams_640x352_1171kbs_11min.mp4 (which strangely isnt even available on ThreeNow but is a netflix item so might be a test item)

Live TV options work

tried 3 Now on Apple TV, picture quality still not good. I guess I will not be watching 3 Now very often.
