Hi.

I wondered if anyone had a skincare regime for lazy guys who just want to take care of themselves a bit better with minimal effort?

In particular I'd really like to find a moisturiser that isn't greasy or thick and horrible to put on.

Ive tried the Nivea Q10 and the Loreal Men Expert and prefer the Loreal.

I've heard something with SPF and something with Vitamin C is a decent idea too.

I'd appreciate any ideas.

Standard nivea moisturizer is a little thinner than the Q10 one.

Nice typo on the "vitaman C" as well 😀

Neutragena ultra gentle with spf15, they do face wash too. Usually cheaper than nivea and equally good.

The shaving foam I use (on the rare time I wet shave) is the Nivea Shaving foam with moisturiser.  Failing that, being gender neutral, I  use the women’s stuff, or in this case, just a light liquid face cleansing soap in a pump bottle.  I think mine might be an organic one.

For the last 10 years I’ve been using a SPF moisturiser from Clinique for men that I absolutely swear by. It’s non greasy and doesn’t go on white. Unfortunately it’s no longer available here and I was devastated. I’ve hunted high and low to find an alternative and the best I’ve come up with Natio Ageless spf 50 moisturiser.

I’ll keeping using it until I get a chance to stock up overseas on my Clinique.

I tried natio many years ago and found it was super thick and greasy.

can't stand greasy moisturisers so had been using Primal Earth's Matt Gel Moisturiser.

However, that brand has now disappeared so have switched to this

There's a reason why bottles of moisturiser have "10% glycerine" on the bottle. It works. I just cut out the middle man and slap pure glycerol on my skin. I don't use it all the time, only when I feel I need it, usually on the face which can get a bit dry. The rest of the time I just give my face a quick wash. For other body parts, I use whatever soap-like substance is on hand in the shower.

Minimal enough?
