Would appreciate if anyone could point me in the direction of a nz supplier for dipole in-wall speakers suitable home theatre, white or could be made white.
Why do you want dipoles?, they are unsuited to 5.1 systems and more appropriate to prologic only systems. For 5.1 systems use Bipoles. Many such speakers can be switched to either bipole or dipole. Bipole has both faces inphase, dipole has them out of phase.
No worries, you should change the Topic to correctly identify. I also use Bipoles, onwall Mission ones and recommend them over conventional single face rears to acheive a better ambience. They also are more tolerant of asymetric rooms and akward room layouts and can be placed either on the side wall or rear wall. If on the side wall attempt to place them around 500-1000mm behind the listening position and preferably a similar distance to the rear wall. Dont place them directly above/behind your head (or 100-300mm behind) as you might with a uni face speaker.
The speakers in that link have a reasonable reputation, dont know of many others that are peddled in NZ that do an inwall bipole.
