Hi all,

I picked up a new B6 OLED last weekend, and I have just noticed that the operating hours are sitting at 39 hours. Now I've used the TB maybe 2 hours per night since then but I would say no more than 10-15 hours.

That being said it looks like I picked up the TV with roughly 20hours if I'm being generous..is this typical or does this imply either a demo model or customer return model?

Was it fully sealed and packaged and advertised as new ?  Or did you buy the floor model?

Noel Leeming purchase/paid at my local store but because they didn't have any in stock they gave me the option of order in or pickup from St Luke's Akl, which supposedly had a few. It looked to be fully sealed and was certainly not advertised as being a floor model or return.

I'm guessing coffeebaron is probably on to something; factory testing prior to release, but I would have assumed they reset the hours or at least disclose this?

Either way I may have just found a reference talking about OLED life expectancy of around 30k hours so this is probably nothing to worry about if that's accurate..
