Harvey Norman Father's Day catalogue indicates that Panasonic is supplying a Blu-Ray player as a redemption as part of Harvey Norman's High Defination Package. Do not see any info regards this on the Panasonic site. Anyone seen/heard about this (Panasonic offer part of the deal).

Looks like it is the Panasonic BD-30.  I have one and have found it to be a great player.  I got mine for $649 from JB-Hi Fi in Hamilton when they had an "ask for a deal" special on it.  I have seen it down to $699 normal price now.  I think you would need to check what the price is if you bought all those components separately at the best prices.  Even considering you get a free Blu-Ray player you may find it is cheaper buying separate components at the best prices.  You would have to make enquiries to find out though.

Internet connection crashed and burned while I was writing the original post so the actual post was some what shorter and not as clear as the original.

My impression from reading the catalogue was that the redemption was from Panasonic and not from Harvey Norman. If so is it a new option for Panasonic's Hi Def screens. Original redemptions were a Freeview Terestrial STB, Panansonic DVD/HDD Recorder/Player or Home Theatre.
