Have just noticed an issue with watching TV, both LiveTV & via the EPG.

I don't normally watch TV this way, as I prerecord everything. I have been watching the tennis on TV One recently. With watching it both ways, the audio will become increasingly out of sync. If I stop & restart, the system resets & everything is back in sync: for a time. Then it happens again. Not 100% certain, but think that with LiveTV, it goes out of sync faster.

Anyone else experiencing this with Mediaportal? Have just started searching the MP forums, docs, etc. but with no luck, to date. Thought I would try local first to see if it was a known issue, with an easy fix, like custom timeshift settings.

I am using MP 1.1.0 beta 1 with svn 24669. But this also occurred watching the women's tournament, & I was using the standard beta 1 version then. Cheers.

Which video codec are you using?  I found using powerdvd's ones does that to TV3 for me from time to time and requires me to change channels to get it back in sync.  Doesnt affect recording, just live TV.  Cant remember which SVN Im using though - it was pre the new TSreader as I had problems with the newer builds.. From memory it never did it for me on 1.1.0 Beta1 though..

I am using a slightly older version: the PowerDVD 7.3 Ultra bundled with my BD drive. As I understand the newer versions do not allow useage of third party frontends like MP. If I had to pay to upgrade, I'd probably go with another make.

Not a biggie. Thought I would check locally. Hopefully the RC1 version is not far from release. Will see if this improves the issue. Otherwise will post on MP forums. But as stated, I rarely use LiveTV, except in instances of live sport, like the tennis that's on now. Thanks.

I use live tv all the time with PDVD9 and I've never experienced anything like that... then again, I only ever use the main releases (either RCs or full). I suggest MP forums is the way to go.
