Hi, Just wondering what ppl think of the above compatibility issues. Better to stick with a Samsung Blu-ray player as already have samsung TV? or not matter at all in terms of picture, access and upcoming home theatre system.Apart from the ablilty to use the same remote is it any better to stick "in brand"?Don't want to get a Bluray player that doesnt support AVI formats as most of my files are AVI's (is it any better picture/advantage plugging in the USB into the Bluray player as opposed to running it through my TV?)
My tv is already internet capable so is it worth it all to pursue a bluray player with internet features?
Also i heard that when start up players they can adjust the tv specs ie automatically play it through the blu ray settings automatically.

Hope people can understand these potentially annoying questions! cheers.

Didn't this thread cover these questions?

You stand a better chance of any brand specific compatibility features working if you stay with the same brand.  Things like using the same remote for both etc etc.

For every other playing a Bluray and having it look good on the TV type aspect, then 9 times out of 10 it doesn't really matter which unit you go for.
