Need recommendation on 32" LCD TV Plus 5.1 sound system

Recurrenly i have just move into New Zealand Auckland for work, and i find it's a very nice place and nice people too. i love it.

after i move into my new appartment, i start looking for a new home theatre, let's talk about the TV first. The 32" LCD TV which will connect to my PC (DVI or D-sub compeable) and PS2(NTSC), also for TV, may be for Xbox360 or PS3 in the future. my bugest is around $2500. i was looking for Acer AT3220B it's only $1777. but it's PAL i am afriad my PS2 is not playable with AT 3220B. is anyone here know this Acer LCD TV able to play NTSC PS2? my second choose is new samsung LA32R71WX, it cost lot more around $3000. but it looks so nice...... apparent is important to me too.
anyone can give me any suggestion that is less then $3000 for LCD TV?

Second is the sounds system. my bugest Max $1000. better with DVD player. must have stand for speaker Any suggestion?

if you could tell me where to buy is cheaper and better, that would be very nice.

Try the Toshiba 32WL66 $2000, Panasonic TX32LX60 $1900 or the Sony KLVV32A10 $2600

There is a good review of the Samsung, Toshiba 32WL66 and Sony S32 model on the homecinemachoice .co.uk website.
The Sony wins out with Samsung close second (same panels,same factory) and the Toshiba comes highly recommended. I just bought the glossy black Samsung from Harvey Norman for $2500. Really pleased with it but don't have an XBOX 360 to really take full advantage of HD capabilities...Be careful buying the Sonys, apparently only the new 2006 Bravia LCDs are the ones to get - last years models still being sold around the place

eww...

The new KLV32/40/46V200 V Series from Sony are horrible compared to the original KLVV26/32/40A10

However the new S200 S Series are very nice and better than the older model and really for the money are better than the V Series now

But seriously why would you buy an LCD above 37" over a decent plasma?
