I've seen numerous instances of Spark reps lying about availability of services at an address or what would be best for a customer so that they go for 4G Wireless Broadband.

In one case when asking to convert an ADSL connection to VDSL, after checking the Spark rep said that there is definitely no VDSL is available at an address and 4G Wireless Broadband would be the best option. However I already had a Chorus pre-qualification which showed VDSL should work extremely well as very close to cabinet. When replied with this they then changed story that they recommend what would work best in the future and VDSL is inferior to 4G.

In another case I got someone to call to upgrade from ADSL to fibre and they were told that now have a new 4G service that is better than fibre and they should go on that instead.

Sure, if Spark only want to offer 4G because they don't have to give Chrous/Enable a monthly cut that is fine, but Spark shouldn't lie about availability and performance.

This is how the Spark HMB CEO responded last time this was brought up.
