Hi everyone,

Spark has a "Lite Fibre" plan with 120 GB of data at 50 Mb/s down, 10 Mb/s up. Past 120 GB it runs at a reduced speed but I'm struggling to find any mention of what that speed is. The offer summary also just says "reduced speed" with no further details.

Does anyone know what it slows down to?

I am guessing and I don't know but 1.2Mbps down after data cap is reached of 120GB

Many ISPs offer this plan but unlimited for the same price. My parents get it for $45 per month on another ISP

Why bother with a data cap when the likes of Quic and others have similar plans for around $56 uncapped?

I actually can't find the speed, only see it "slow". But many providers offer it at the same pricepoint without a cap eg, 2degrees, onenz who even offer SuperWiFi with it etc.

The short version is that I want something simple that my mother can use, with an ONT-based landline. I'll take a look at some other providers later.
