Hey just wondering if its correct that SD cards will work in the nokia 6255 (that come with MMC Cards)
i want a 1GB one, and SD is alot cheaper.............
Also wondering if any one else has had problems with the 6255 faults in NZ:

3 button being pushed radomly and exiting out of messages.
buzzing sound from keypad

I have sent it to telegistics but they sent it back EXACTLY the same apart from another fault !!!! , it then had no service at all i couldnt send messages or call because it had no signal, grrrrr seems like they r no better the MFR at all.
this is the third week its been with them and the technition has only just looked at it today.
Im just worried as i have read on international forums that these faults and more have appeared in many cases and wernt fixed... has anyone had this happen before? and if so what happened? fix or replacement>?
Thanks

SD cards will not work in the phone as they are too thick. MMC cards are just as cheap, on www.flashcards.co.nz a 1gb mmc is only $4 more than 1gb sd.

There is a thread on problems with the 6255 in NZ

I think that covers most prblems and fixes etc
