Please visit your local Telecom Dealer Store, or ring *123 for consumer, or 126 for Business in relation to this question.

It is phrobited to post namming instructions, here on Geekzone.

And in relation to your problem, I would say the dealer isn't saying send it away for the fun of it, not exactly the most exciting thing to-do, trust me on that one, but ask to get the phone checked out at 'switch'.

You can also try the Wireless Help Desk on 0800 400 909.

You will find anything you want at MightyApe (affiliate link).

I have delt with Telegistics many times getting my phones firmware reinstalled and found it to be a quick usually painless process. Its mainly the dealers and espescially stores like noel leeming that cause headaches. Your best option is to have it sent away and have the latest firmware installed on it.

Also, please use full english in your posts. No SMS languague like usto and ur is allowed here. There are quite a few users who primary language isn't english and it also makes it easier for everybody else to read.

As previously mentioned it is forbidden to post NAMing and programming instructions and codes here on Geekzone for obvious reasons.

Take a look at the forum usage guidelines for more info!

I for one, think Telegistics was a good idea by Telecom considering Vodafone & Telecom used to share Mobile Phone Repairs who had only three service centres in New Zealand and ALL the mobiles in the country were repaired there taking on verage over 2 full weeks to get back.

Telegisitics only services Telecom mobiles....

If taken to a Telecom Dealer they can tell you what stage the repair is at, ie if its in testing or sourcing parts etc and normally takes an average of 5 working days, sometimes quicker... at least it was in my instance with the Sanyo 7400 firmware upgrade.

Just my 2c worth, but i'm glad we have Telegistics because its definitely better than what option we had before.

Don’t take this personally, but from what I hear from Telegistics Tech's, people from Noel Leemings etc usually don’t give good descriptions of the problem. Would be the last place I'd personally take a phone to be sent away for repair. Of course it all depends on the sales rep who is sending it away.

And Telegistics are far better than MFR, they do a good job.
