I have setup a VPN (PPTP) to my work network, the VPN works on my internet at home (Vodafone) & at motels but not on my Vodem (K3805-Z).
I also tried an older Vodem (K3765-Z) on another computer and the VPN didn't work on that either? Anybody experience this problem?

Have you tried the "internet" APN?

If not working still, tried the "direct.vodafone.net.nz" APN?

Can anyone confirm if PPTP is supported on a Vodafone Vodem?

(Also don't use PPTP unless you're doing TLS as well, anything else is insecure)

I tried direct.vodafone.net.nz but it did not work.
Is that just the word "Internet" (no dotted address) on its own? Is the upper-case "I" critical?

PPTP is a pretty horrible VPN solution. Any chance for IPSEC?

Possible that your VPN is filtering addresses? Are you using the same VPN connection when over mobile network?

Must be a problem with Windows XP Pro, I was able to successfully connect to my VPN on a Vodem using Windows Vista.
