I've been trying to access the Lightbox app on my PS4 but I am being geo-blocked. I have contacted Lightbox and they don't know what's going on so I thought maybe it's a problem at Vodafones end (which is why I posted in the Vodafone forums) I have emailed Vodafone but last time I emailed them with a problem they never replied, so I'm trying here.

-I'm on ex-TCL ADSL
-I have re-installed the app twice.
-I don't use any DNS services like unotelly.
-I use the DNS that is assigned by Vodafone.
-PS4 firmware is up to date.
-I use a NZ PSN account.

I don't get this problem on my PC, so I guess it could be a Playstation issue but it might not be.

PC and PlayStation will use the DNS in the router unless you have set it up differently so its not a Vodafone issue if the PC doesnt have issues

Sounds like an issue on the PlayStation

I guess I'll have to contact Sony then.

Update on getting geo-blocked when using the lightbox app.

The PS4 got a firmware update yesterday that allows you to do a full system back up onto an external HDD so I thought I would give that a try. I backed up the whole system, reset my PS4, and then I restored the back up. This whole process took about 12 hours but it paid off because now I'm no longer being geo-blocked.

Thanks for the update and glad it's sorted
