We've got a Vodafone fibre connection in the office, we need a /28 to allow for 14 public addresses, a service that was dead simple to request through Spark. Unfortunately it seems nobody at Vodafone business support has a clue how to set this up, surely such a basic service isn't beyond the realms of possibility?

Happy to pay for all the public IP's obviously, not a matter of cost. At this point support are saying it's literally not possible, despite other ISP's being able to accommodate with ease. Could anybody assist with a contact in Vodafone that knows how subnets work? Do we need to abandon Vodafone entirely?

Just as an update/FYI if somebody comes across this in the future, we gave up and are cancelling our account and going elsewhere. It really isn't possible to get more than one IP on a fibre service through Vodafone and their engineers do not appear to understand how subnetting works. Concerning.

If a provider doesn't promote something as being available it's safe to assume that it's not.

At the end of the day something like this is something you'll typically find with specialised providers and not mass market providers as it's not something 99% of customers have any requirement for.

Absolutely agree, ordinarily this wouldn't even register, but this is a service every other ISP approached could supply and most annoyingly Vodafone themselves said shouldn't be a problem. They even allocated the IPs before running up against issues, plus the process of confirming it wasn't possible took well over a month.

I'm not really pissed off, just updating the thread with the conclusion for others sake.
