Does anyone know if Vodafone plan to make online billing more user friendly?
I ask because logging in each month to download bills for multiple companies is a complete pain in the ass.  Most companies that bill online email PDF's to customers.  This allows you to register your accounts department email address so that invoices go directly to them, or to a business unit manager for sign off.
The only other company I know of that uses such a horrible method of online billing is Telecom.  I don't want paper based billing because all of our accounting systems are totally electronic, so any paper is scanned and entered into a document management system anyway which just increases admin time.
It's very counter productive to have to login and out of 20 different accounts to retrieve all the bills, whereas with say WorldxChange, Orcon, etc the PDF is directly emailed as an attachment.
It isn't an option to simply put invoices on direct debit and not download the invoices at all because businesses need invoices for records, and one of the wonderful traits of the telcos is that their billing is never correct, and must be checked manually by the customer.

There is a thread on the Vodafone forum that might interest you. I too would be happy to move over to electronic if they emailed the pdf rather than forced you to download it each month.

Thanks for that, I've contributed my thoughts there too. Hopefully they take it on board and make their online billing more like other companies.

They do email invoices in pdf as an attachment every month - to the contact email address on the account as long as you have selected to have the invoice delivery option as email as opposed to post or email and post.

or do you mean email the invoice to an additional address?

:)

Having it emailed to me is exactly what I want, as I'm sure, many other customers.  The problem is I keep hearing about this fabled functionality that whenever I call up about the answer is always no we don't do that, or if you're a member of Vodafone's PR or Marketing team "look! you get 13 months of past bills online!" and completely ignore the question asked.

Are you talking about fixed line and broadband invoices?
