... And I'm not talking about the $2.5/week fee.
Last week I subscribed to mobile TV. It sounded interesting, and according to the website, "All you need is a 3G mobile and be in a 3G coverage area" and "you won't incur any data charges while you're watching."
The website, however, fails to mention that neither of these claims is correct.
I live within a 3G coverage area (with decent reception) and have a vodafone branded phone (a Sony G502) with default Vodafone APN settings.
Yet I can't access mobile TV! I browsed through the menu off the live homepage, but none of the streams would load (I just got a blank screen.)
Worse still (in my opinion), when I logged into the vodafone website, I noticed that my balance had decreased by ~20c. (since completing the sign up, I'd logged in to the site)
One week on, and I've noticed that every time that I've tried to access the streams my balance has decreased by between 1c and 20c.
The only pages that I've visitied are the live homepage, the sky mobile tv page, and the channel pages (which only exist on a couple of the channels.), yet I've been charged over $2 worth of data charges for a service which I was told was (and is supposed to) be free.
How do I go about getting a refund; without incurring any further charges?
