We signed up to VF Ultimate broadband and have had it up and running since Wednesday evening and it's been mostly great, but when I download files from Rapidshare, Mediafire, Megaupload, zshare, etc the speeds are always low (around 20-40kb/s). On downloads from apple and download.com I can get up to 200kb/s, but not on these sites.

Can I fix this?

Has been as high as 7600 down. Apparently we're 2.9k from the exchange

We have Sky, but it's not plugged in, have tried router by itself (without filter), with firewall off but no difference.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
