Received this in our mailbox last week. Thought it might amuse a few GZers...

Maybe I should start a business building Faraday Cages around these people's homes!  ;-)

To whom it may concern
I have a giant RF transmitter outside my house, it is immensely powerful and operates over a wide range of frequencies. The only saving grace seems to be that it disappears below the horizon in the evenings, so it's effect is reduced. The trouble is it appears again in the morning on the opposite side of the house.

What can I do???
(Besides sunblock and sunglasses).

First, the double space after periods in the paragraphs. Whoever wrote this learnt to type when typewriters were a thing.

Seriously, though, "radiation that 10s or 100s x greater" sounds to me they are confusing data speed with frequency, and this with radiation.

Then "SafeG". They basically want cabled networking everywhere. No more wireless anyway.

Yeah, nah. Same kind of people who believe in the anti-vaxx crap. And that the man did not land in the moon.

5G is already adversely affecting critical thinking and general intelligence. This is evidenced by the rise in flat earthers, chemtrail believers, space deniers. We must stop 5G and roll back 4G,3G and Bic pens.

Hell, why not roll back to 2G, just to be sure. Or landlines.

(I suppose I should translate as I’m still amazed at the people I know in my profession who don’t know it, but still use it daily).

translation: “We could always go back to this? I remember having to learn this by heart and amazes some people I can still do this in my head.”

People also forget the natural mega-impulse from lightning.... high voltage, high current and I would guess wide band width....

If that's what it takes to stop "designers" from making multi-megabyte web pages that are all form and no function, then so be it.

Beware the 5G treehouse conspiracy!

There are kids in the neighbourhood, right now, who are engaged in a secret plot to set up an advanced communications network between their treehouses. It is said that their mysterious devices make use of cans that have been emptied of their contents and had the lids removed. As the network consists of five children named Geoff, George, Grant, Gail and Geraldine, it is commonly referred to as ‘5G’.

The techno-cans are linked in some unknown way with special string that makes it possible to convey voice waves over the distance spanning the treehouses, giving these kids an insurmountable tactical advantage in any battle involving dirt clods or water guns.

Apart from the sheer unfairness of it all, the devices are known to present invisible hazards to the health and well-being of certain older members of our precious community. Not only do the sound waves contain frequencies known to set up pleasurable vibrations in the nether regions when used incorrectly by our less rigorous residents, leading to distraction and impure thoughts, they are also capable of transmitting words that can result in uncontrollable excitation and spontaneous emissions of a most disturbing nature. Some have actually been heard whispering “I love you”.

It has been reported that innocent bystanders fleeing the emissions have become entangled in the hard to see web of string, rolling it around themselves and wrapping themselves in the 5G devices as they are yanked from the treehouses, hitting them on the head. Clearly these nefarious devices represent a mortal threat to the health, welfare, and moral turpitude of our exceptionally challenged population. They must be stopped!

Sign our petition today! 5G must go! Ban string! We don’t need these new-fangled technological devil instruments! Shouting was good enough for our Devonian ancestors and it is good enough for us!

I'm a proud double-spacer and I refuse to be lumped in with these loons.
