Hi, I ported a number to 2talk and plan to use an unused Cisco SPA122.

I have VDSL with a Ubiquiti Edgemax lite router. Just a question on the network hookup of the SPA122 since it is also a router, do I connect both the Internet and WAN ports to my LAN switch and leave the Internet port as DHCP?

Or just connect the SPA122 LAN port to my switch, and configure it on a local address, leaving the internet port disconnected?

I would just connect the WAN port to your existing LAN, and leave the LAN port disconnected. Use DHCP on the WAN port. Done.

In this case you could probably allow configuration from WAN port (from the LAN side, initially) in case you need to tweak it later.

Cheers will do, does anyone know if the 2talk SPA122 auto provisioning still broken requiring manual setup?

My SPA122 ports are labelled "Internet" and "Ethernet". The Internet one is closest to the power socket and is the one to connect to your LAN.

The Ethernet port can be used to connect a computer to manually set it up. Auto provisioning does work but.......

I made notes when I recently had some trouble:-

Seems that provisioning causes "remote access" to be turned off
Have to browse in via the "ethernet" port on the adaptor
Username = admin pw = account number = xxxxxxxx
and go to Administration > Web Access Management and enable remote management

This is an error with the auto-provisioning which they may have fixed by now. (It also happened a while ago with a working Linksys SPA2102 but it came right by itself - probably when 2Talk fixed their script)
