Hi,
I have recently subscribed to Office 365 small business premium.

I originally only wanted to sign up to Exchange Online to consolidate and manage my email better, however when going through the MS website it looked much more effective to go the full hog and get access to the latest 2013 software as well, it still comes with enterprise grade email and had all of he same features in the comparison list as Exchange Online.

My question is..... Where is Exchange Online, I need to st up my server? I have looked everywhere and trawled the Internet and cannot find any reference to it.

I even tried to additionally subscribe to the exchange online product again thinking that it might be separate and It told me my subscription already had this and wasn't able to be added.....

Very frustrating, as I now only have access to my wail via the web app, I am also having struggle to direct my desktop and phone apps to the office365 service.

Thanks for those, that should get me sorted once I have setup.

My main problem is where can I configure the actual exchange server settings?

Even easier... If you setup your domain correctly, including the auto discovery, you should only need to  follow Nathan's link to find WHERE to enter your email address and password in Outlook when configuring a new Exchange account to have all setup done automatically for you.

found it......

a bit sneaky on Microsoft's side but I presume they want to make sure that Small Business owners (who obviously don't have lots of IT skills) aren't getting easy access to  trash all of the settings..

Looks like you need to do some 'doctoring' of URL to get to the Exchange Administration Panel......

Sorry, but what does Managing Exchange Online has to do with configuring Outlook in your original question?

Move to New Zealand's best fibre broadband service (affiliate link). Note that to use Quic Broadband you must be comfortable with configuring your own router.

sorry, some confusion I think, my original query was how to configure my (actual) exchange server, not the outlook client settings to connect to exchange server.

things have been slightly complicated from the norm in that the propagation process seems to have taken ages. I set the account up on Friday night and I have only just been able to get my Lync and SharePoint connections working properly, including my windows phone.

it appears to be all working now and syncing across all devices which is good.
