My nephew was given an eMac from his grandparents, it was running fine on a older version of Mac OS X, not sure on excat version.
Somehow my nephew changed a setting & the eMac has reverted back to an much older OS (9.2)
Is there anyway of reverting the eMac back to Mac OS X without reinstalling from disks (that we don't have)?

It will likely be in the boot menu where you can select the version to load. So probably has both versions installed.

Behodar: Control Panels > Startup Disk.

Yes. Sounds like both OS's are installed, and can be dual booted. Was useful for apps that had not been updated for OSX.

Cheers,
Joseph

For the eMac, before I upgraded to Leopard, I could press and hold the alt/option key immediately after pressing the power button, which would prompt for which disk you want to boot from (OSX or OS9).Could be handy to use, or something fun to play around with hahaha.
