Hi

I have an STL file for an item ld like to get printed.  I dont have a 3d printer and so wondering if there are any cheapish suppliers in NZ that do a print job on demand.

CHCH based would be ideal

Thanks

How solid/strong do you need?

At 20% infill with 4 lines for exterior walls at 0.2mm layers this will use roughly 400g of Filament and take 25 hours to print.

How heavy is the item?

I'll have to confirm weight.  i actually want to change the design a little as this STL is design to mount over a Lip of some kind where as i want to wall mount my unit so in theory i want to cut the back of the unit off..  i need to find an stl editor.  As for strenght i want it fairly strong, but we are talking less than 2kg i would say of weight tht its holding.  Again i can confirm, but what sort of ball park figure would something like this cost?

What is it you are actually mounting? 2kg isn't that heavy really and that design looks fairly meaty. Do it in ABS for a bit of flexibility.

Just had a go on my settings, and it came out as 18 hours, 226g. 20% infill (gyroid), 0.2 layer height, 0.8 wall thickness (2 lines).

Honestly no idea what the going rate would be. But is there a library in Christchurch with printers?
