TradeMe seems inaccessable several times I've tried to connect to it via slingshots adsl.

Anyone else having issues?

Strangely the mobile version is working fine(and also accessable via the adsl) - http://m.trademe.co.nz/

Well, it's going again right now.
I'm wondering what the cause woiuld have been.

Strange the mobile site was still accessable when their main site wasn't.

As Erina has suggested, perhaps it was some problem with slingshot.
I'll put that to them and update if/when I get a response.

DNS or routing issue or problem with their transparent web proxy.... one of those most likely.

It happens..

Hey members, agree that the issue over the weekend is not a good look. [-(

Contact the call center for a free 20GB data block.

Thanks for that hellonearthisman.

So it turns out it was indeed the cache as suggested, not working because slingshot forgot to pay their bill(renew their subscription).

At least we get something for our inconvenience. . .

Good on you slingshot for the 20 GB free data block.
Other slingshot user just need to ring them and request this to receive it also.
