So I bought a Puma watch from 1Day a while back, and the battery has gone. No worries, when that happens, I take my watch to Mr Minute and they replace it for me.

Except with my Puma watch. They said they couldn't touch it.
So I thought I'd visit the Puma website to try and find out, but the Puma NZ site doesn't appear to be working, and it hasn't worked for like a month or so.

Does anyone know who does them here in NZ? I've tried to contact Michael Hill, but they don't do them either.

I've rung Puma NZ, and they say that they don't really have a 'go to guy' so to speak, but rather just take it to a reputable watch repairer and they should be able to do it.

Not sure why Mr Minute turned it down though....

Oh, and they don't actually have an NZ website. I thought they used to....

I know alot of places won't touch watches if they don't know where to send it if it all goes pear shaped.

Look up watchermakers in the yellowpages, and let your fingers do the walking. From memory it brings up all the jewellers as well so you may need to sift through those to find the guys that actually repair watches rather than just a retail shop.
