I am trying to find a way to sense an input from an external push button device onto the pc. What I want is a board that has RS232 that can sense a 5V/12v signal and then send a command to the PC when it senses that. I have looked on www.controlanything.com but they just have relays for controling other things from the computer, I am wanting to do the opposite. Any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers.

Whats wrong with a keybaord hack, or just connecting it to one of the handshake likes of the serial port?
