I have been a user of the ever popular one card(the one used at progressive's woolworths and foodtown brands) for some time now.

It used to be every few months we'd get an evnelope containing a $15 voucher (which meant we'd reached 200 points).

The last few months however there have been no vouchers and we were wondering why this is.

After ringing them today it seems that they have changed their terms so that the points expire now in half the time they did before(now six months) so that many of us will now no longer be getting the vouchers.

Shrewd buisness practice there progressive ent. you must be saving a fortune by not having to pay out in vouchers any more, however the one card now is far less rewarding to us customers who like myself might just stear clear of progressives stores now.

Anyone else bothered by this or noticed the lack of vouchers?

There's not really a lot of those either lately, at least not for common purchases in our household.

This week was no exclusion with nothing saved via onecard, just standard savings from the in-store/catalogue specials.

Lately it seems the onecard items have been more the things that aren't well sold(or much wanted by consumers) with lots of bonus points to entice sales.

So that leaves the spend $2000 get $15 back as a voucher, but only if the points don't expire :(

All those years that onecards been around, I never had one. Then a few months back a friend explained how it worked so I decided to get one. When I was filling out the forms I read the part about the 6 month expiry and just ripped the form up and put it in the bin. As a single person, I would never spend that much in under 6 months even if I had done all my shopping there.

I've found that you usually get the one card discounts anyway even if you don't have a one card.
The check operator swipes their card for me. They get the rewards and I get the discounts.
