Hi,

I have used OpenCart for my startup business online shopping cart and I was wondering what payment system I should use for credit cards. Paypal is okay, but I am looking for something that looks like it is part of the website. All suggestions are welcome. Thank you.

DPS is a good option, though the fees are much higher than Paypal. There's also Flo2Cash.

nate, both those options fail the "look like part of the website" criterion.

To the OP though: I'd still recommend them despite that, as they put way more of the control of the transaction back in your hands. And getting paid pretty much as the money comes in is awesome.

Most banks also have CC gateway options, some costing more than others. I recommend giving your bank a call (do note that Westpac includes DPS as part of the package, and ASB gives you their inhouse system called CardPay).

I know computerlounge uses DPS, and from memory its all very seamless, you don't even leave their site.

Yeah, it occured to me after posting that DPS has actually two different integrations. One of them goes to a page on their site, and one stays on your site and posts the card details to them.

I'd actually recommend hosted payment pages anyway, since if you host it yourself then you need to comply with PCI DSS and that is very expensive to do. With hosted pages, you just need to fill out an SAQ once a year.
