Currently with Snap on their ADSL plan. Over the last week or so the internet hasn't been nearly as 'snappy'.
Upload seems to be the main culprit and is painful most of the time.
In the evenings I'm often trying to upload images for work to a company and I have to leave it running due to its terrible speeds.
The same task in the office where I had recently had Spark fibre installed takes probably 30 seconds.
Our house is on a rear section and we are according to Snap 100m from the exchange however they claim the wiring doesnt necessarily come straight here etc so could be a lot longer.
No homephone or anything on our internal phoneline other than the filter and line to the Netgear router.
Another thing they said is we are on a multipoint -something to do with sharing the wiring with other properties.
Fibre in our area according to the enable website says 'before July 2017'.....
My office is probably 300metres at most from where I live - Would be nice if I could somehow beam my internet from there to home?
Is this even possible?
Who can we get our to check the lines in the house and on the property?
Anyway heres some screenshots of some stuff that may paint a picture.
