Just as a hoot, noticed in the last couple of days that my Optimal Speedtest.net server is Wifibre Broadband and from Arthur's Pass

Now I'm with Unlimited Internet, and optimal servers are always in Auckland, I live considerably closer to Arthur's Pass than Auckland (but still 400km away)
So can safely assume that the location is wrong and should be Auckland, as other servers on the SI are way slower
Not at all worried just a giggle
Anybody else with stranger places ?

It's hosted on a VPS at Mikipro in Auckland, im not sure what the guy who set it up is up too, Arthur's Pass doesn't even have fibre....  He might be on here, his name is Callum Jones.

It is just using the platform for marketing.

Who knows maybe the domain name/IP does route to server in Arthurs Pass for on-net customers.

Wifibre generally don't respond to email or calls. I know a couple of people who tried to sign up with them, and after an initial response fell into a black hole.

Looks like their at it again

But also noticed Unlimited Internet are now HD.net.nz, I take it UI parent company
Also the best ping I've had for a very long time, as above 33ms was old best
I was getting best speeds from Ookla server in New Plymouth but this is no longer, I would get pretty close to modem speeds (80/20Mbps) vs what you see from Auckland where UI/HD are based (best ping), quite weird as I'm smack bang middle of South Island
