Ok 4 days ago i got a new modem a D-link 504T Generation 2. I had a D-link 504g before but i needed one that could handle the new speeds once my exchange gets upgraded.

Soon as i got it i noticed a slight increase in  speed and in gaming

Anyway i upgraded my plan with Xtra from Adventure to Pro Advanced my upload speed went up. But as far as i know and the Technicians i work with say Adsl can only reach up to 7.6 megs?

But in the modem it says

dlink

My Adsl stats say Modulation ADSL_G.dmt <--- ( but i have Chosen Adsl2+ multimode in settings )

And whats the max upload speed i can get off adsl? My Anr margin have gone down since i moved to this plan

No, you're not on ADSL2+, G.DMT is the name of ADSL1, and you're maxing out ADSL1's 8mbit limit. With a line attenuation of 2, you should max out ADSL2+ as well.

Search for modulation mode or line mode in the settings there, and switch it to ADSL2+. If its not there at all a firmware upgrade might be needed.
