Apologies if this has been asked and rehashed before but ...
Will I need to get a splitter installed with a St Johns Lifelink Medical Alert ?
See my flatmate has his elderly grandmother staying with him right now. They've had this medical alert thingy where she presses and holds a button on the keychain to get an ambulance out there. She's a hard case old lady so I don't want anything to happen to her.
Anyway they've got a St Johns officer out here testing when I notice my BB going down. Like not syncing with the exchange gone down.
This is how I had my filters setup before :
Main Jack Point->Double Adaptor->Filter->Phone
|-------10m extension reel->Filter->ADSL Modem
Symptoms :
ADSL Syncing
Internet working
Phone working
It was changed by the St Johns officer to :
Main Jack Point->Medical Alert->Double Adaptor->Filter->Phone
|-------10m extension reel->Filter->ADSL Modem
Symptoms :
ADSL not Syncing
Internet not working
Phone working
Medical alert keychain button working
Ambu getting signals back at their base
I went out just now and changed it to :
Main Jack Point->Double Adaptor->Medical Alert->Filter->Phone |-------10m extension reel->Filter->ADSL Modem
