Apologies to the admins if this in in the wrong area. If it needs to be in another board please move me thank you :D. Or if it's already answered effectively in some other thread please provide the URL as my google fu is not the best right now.

I'm wondering do Pudney make good telephone accessories ?

Went out today to get a new BT-US telephone cable as I can't find any of mine and wanted to rejig my filter setup.

I got a Pudney PT287 Cross wired Telephone Cable 2m  (Nz Telephone plug to RJ11 modular plug)

I gotta say. I'm a little dissapointed. Its really really really thin. Like wafer thing almost. This thing going to get more cross talk than some of my "meater" cables (meaty is in thickness).

Other choices in my area is Dick Smith's branded ones and Digitor. I use to have some Digitor headphones a while back that I thought were crap.

I probably don't even know what I'm talking about here guys please educate me :D

... the cord between the device and the wall jack generally wont make any difference imo, unless its damaged or really long (eg 10m)

The cable won't really make any difference.

Cheapest place for cables is the $2 shop or XYZ branded shop that sells this cheap stuff - you get BT-RJ12 and RJ12-RJ12 for $2
