I am looking at buying a wireless router and new ADSL modem. I was going to buy a NetGear DG834N, which has ADSL2 and complies with draft 802.11n, so it has the modem and router in one.

In your opinion is that a good piece of hardware to buy? Or is there advantages in buying a separate router and modem?

I was also looking at a
Linksys WAG325N, or getting a NetGear DG834 (ADSL modem) and a NetGear WNR834B (Wireless Router).

I would prefer the all in one solution as it has ADSL2, but was worried I might miss out on some great new technology that will come out and I would have to replace both components if I get the all in one solution.

I've always found an all in one solution is always easier to use. Takes up less space, one less power point required and only one machine to configure for your internet.

Linksys machines are a good choice to use in my opinion. Not too expensive and easy enough to use and find support for.
