Is it just me, or is the Windows Mobile Owners Circle that Microsoft keep telling me to sign up to pathetically light on content? For example, they tout to help you "Work smart with free productivity tools that help you get the most from your Windows Mobile device" (not the word 'tools' - plural). And what do they provide? A bunch of links to the *same* page which allows you to download a WM client app for Windows Live Search. Yep, that's it.

Oh! but wait, there is the fun and games section. Great! Wait, what? Only ONE game? One CRAP game? Hmm, maybe the ringtones.. no wait, they are rubbish too. Oh! At least I can get a few low res jpgs to use as wallpaper - yay! What they say: "Personalize your phone with free ringtones, wallpapers, themes, games, applications and more." Yep, I'm sure that says games (plural), and applications (though i couldn't find any). Surely a company the size of Microsoft could do better than this? Heck *I* could do better than this with a 30 second google search. Bah. Oh, and they send you an e-mail EVERY time you download ANYTHING to say thanks! Lucky they don't have much to download or my inbox would be full of useless spam (well, more of it anyway).

Is this what you get when you "register" your Windows Mobile device with the new WMDC 6.1 on Windows Vista? I didn't register...

Correct, this is what I got by registering and sending my device details to Microsoft. Silly me...
