Howdy,

I am attempting to set up and new phone for the boss (Nokia N95). The first handset I had did soft reboots every minute or so with factory settings. The new one I have now appears to soft-reboot randomly as well (had two soft boots in the last hour). It is currently running firmware V11.0.026. Any ideas on where to start looking for issues?

The only additional software I have installed is the MailForExchange client (V1.6.1) for the N95 from the nokia business site.

I can't brain today. I have the dumb.

there is a new version 12 released which seems to correct many of the problems people have been experiencing. Mine ran terribly unreliably on version 11.

Version 11 seems to be a just a bit of a dud but i have had no problems since the upgrade to 12.

Yep, Can confirm that. After upgrading? to V11 I had a lot of re-boots but after v12 all is looking good.
Remember, the upgrade to V12 is not official yet and you have to alter your product code to get it.

Thanks for the replies. Any idea when V12 will be officially released? As it is a company phone I do not want to have to alter the poduct code just to do a firmware uprade.

Somewhere between weeks (Nokia) and months (Voda)

Darn. Ok, thanks for the info. Will see how long the boss can stand it before sending it back again... For my own sanity, I hope Vondaphone fast-tracks the update.
