But it here: http://www.gamesforwindows.com/en-CA/Games/AgeofEmpiresIII/ or through the GFWL Marketplace Client (seems to work better in client) just check how much your paying at checkout as some people has said it flicks back to full $40 price.

Found here: http://www.reddit.com/r/gaming/comments/e9da4/microsoft_offering_age_of_empires_iii_for_10/

Ouch I'm hurt, long time reader and just signed up to spread the news of the great deal but yes, just found out it is USA only. So would folks be helpful enough to tell me if it is possible to delete a topic?

Works fine from my NZ account.  You must use the windows client, not the web marketplace.

It works on NZ accounts, but you have to download and purchase via the games for windows marketplace client.  If you try to purchase via the website, after logging in you get a regional restriction error message.

I'm unsure if you were trolling or actually serious? Just signed up with one of my .info domains and my nz visa debit card worked fine...

Cheers OP ^.^

I tried to download and pay for the game via the web marketplace which did not work with my live ID but it looks like it downloads/purchases fine via the games marketplace client installed on the laptop.

Worked for me too! Thanks heaps for this, its a game I had wanted for a while. But as my brother bought a copy I saw no point in getting one as well. But for 10c :)

I read over the weekend. BioShock is 99cents, pretty sure that's in US Dollar too.

Well, I got charged 2 things: 10c and $2. The $2 charge came first, so wondering if it is a new card test amount? I hadn't used that card before. How long til it would be refunded?
