I have a reasonable sized Network

3 desktops running windows 7 and vista
A few phones kicking around
A new tablet
A chromecast
A Tivo wireless device

All of these work no problems with with my netcomm wireless router (good quality 5 months old)

Now the Flatmates Dell laptop running Windows 8.1 (her work)tries to connect either wired or wireless and not only wont it connect(most of the time) it will block all the other computers.

Now it feels like a conflict of IP addresses and yes I do sometimes get that error.

Tonight I tried connect a different router and yes it did work on the dell and some other devices for a while but not long enough to pinpoint the problem

1/. How do I delete all the Networking profiles on the Dell in Windows 8.1
2/. Any other ideas

Thanks Pete

Hi

I had the same problem, I had Wireless connection problems to the netcomm wireless router and I tried to reset the adapter to see if this helps but I get a limited connection, I did a google and found this website which has solved my wifi issue.

https://www.wiknix.com/no-internet-access-in-windows-8-1/

I hope this helps you and the Wireless issue you are facing

if you are using a Vodafone supplied Huawei HG659 that's your problem. Since i switched to that I've had endless problems like yours.
