Hi folks!
I´ve been reading your posts about bluetooth network because I came across the same message somebody here did -  "A network cable is unplugged"... ok, my bluetooth IS working and I´m able to transfer files beetween my PC and my smartphone despite of the message. Also, I read bluetooth software Bluesoleil (my device) online help and it mentioned that point about needing "TWO COMPUTERS"  to establish the network connection, suggesting that a single PC and a smartphone wouldn´t make a network.
But there´s something disturbing me: when I used an older version of bluetooth software Bluesoleil, the network icon did showed "Bluetooth PAN is now connected" or something,  just the way it does when you conect a PC´s network cable to another's or to a lan switch.
So, why doesn't it show the connection with the new software version?

P4 2.6 GHz
512M RAM
Windows XP SP 2
Bluetooth USB Dongle IVT Bluesoleil
IVT Blusoleil Software

(older version IVT Blusoleil 1.4)

Smartphone Nokia E51 S60
Symbian OS

Tudo bom?

Could it be a loopback connection before? There isn't certainly nothing to worry about "Network cable unplugged" messages because as you describe it needs a second PC to actually establish a network - just like a physical network adapter.
