Just got my fiber installed, trying to setup my own router.

 

Cloned Mac address just in case, added VLAN 10 to Switch page, still can't get onto the network. I assume I am missing something in VLAN conf.

Realised I also had to select VLAN as my physical interface. From there on, all I get in system log is:

 

 

 

IPv6: ADDRCONF(NETDEV_UP): eth0.10: link is not ready

Below is how I managed to set it up. In the process I've found that port 4/1 is mixed up on my router.

 

 

 

 

 

Under switch menu tagged CPU and Port 1 as VLAN 10 (actual hardware port number turned out to be 4):

 

 

 

 

Then edit WAN interface to clone Orcons router Mac address (rewrite from label under the router):

 

 

Finally, go to Physical Settings tab and select your VLAN interface:

 

 

 

 

If everything went well, you'll see IP address assigned in the Interfaces menu:
