Hi - I am moving to Spark Fibre Max from whatever the old Spark fibre plan is. Do I need the Spark Smart Modem or will my old HG659b be just as fast? Servicing two laptops, two phones, an iPad, etc. Nothing too intensive.

Thanks in advance!

No modem needed for fibre. HG659b will happily route gigabit though.

Thank you both! The account switched over and it all works, but I'm only getting 320mbps. Is there something I can do to get closer to advertised average speeds or is it just YMMV?

Thank you! And sorry if this is all too Basic!

Hi, are you testing by wireless or ethernet, dont use wireless as there are too many variables, check via ethernet

Great job done, and 300 on wireless is on the money too.
