i recently got the d-link wireless ADSL router DSL- G604T from telecom
i have connected it to my PC and have broadband working on that.
Now i want to set it up so i can get wireless broadband access on my laptop which i believe is WiFi capable, so according to the telecom website i won't need a wireless network card or wireless USB adapter.

I can't seem to get it working after using the network setup wizards and help featres,
can anybody give me any advice on how to get it going?

You don't give anywhere near enough detail for us to help you.

Do you have the wireless networking stuff enabled on your laptop? Ie can you "scan" for wireless networks? Usually you doubleclick on the wireless icon in the task bar and it'll bring up a utility to help you.

oh sorry, as you can prob tell im having a bit of trouble knowing what im doing,

my laptop does a have an option which searches for a wireless connection but it can't find one
also i tried to follow your links steps, i dont think i have a modem and router seperate, i think its the same thing? and then when i got to the last part where the connection is meant to come up, obviously it is not comming up for me

Have you got it going yet? if not PM me your e-mail address, I will make you a step-by-step tutorial (wish i had one when i started out! :P ) to get your laptop connected in a *.pdf format.

Don't really want to rip into making one if you already have it sorted.
