I'm going to wall mount my TV, with all equipment sitting elsewhere in the lounge.  I've run several HDMI cabling through my wall already - all good, however I also need to run a single optical fibre TOSLINK cable for audio from one of my devices, which I want to terminate to the middle of the face plate as per the image.

Does anyone know if TOSLINK cables are available with female versions (similar to HDMI in the picture) either end?  Preferably one that will fit the standard sized fitting?  I can't seem to find any when googling for it.  I could simply run a longer male to male TOSLINK cable, but didn't really want the cable just hanging out of the wall and would prefer a female connector terminated in the face plate.

I came to the same conclusion, and it was pretty much the first result when searching "toslink keystone"

Plus darkstar.co.nz - https://www.darkstar.co.nz/keystone-insert-toslink.html

If I knew they were called a “keystone” I wouldn’t have needed to ask...

Ahh yeah, that would be the keyword that you didn't mention in your post.

I know it from cat5/cat6 keystones for unloaded patch panels/faceplates.
