I've recently acquired an old watch cleaning machine that needs quite a bit of TLC.

It's from the 60's I believe. I've pulled it apart and am cleaning/repairing/painting all the non-electric parts but given every component runs directly on mains voltage I'd like someone more qualified/knowledgeable than me to look at the wiring side of things.

It's relatively simple electrically, a couple of switches, light, a rheostat that controls the speed of an AC motor, and a heating element (vintage style). It has been rewired since its birth (and earthing added!) but needs another check.

What I'm looking for is a company/electrician/geekzoner who could look at it and bring it up to a safe standard (paid of course). I'm not sentimental about the parts (rheostat and heater etc) so a modern replacement component is fine as long as functionally the same. I'd also like the motor looked at too, it works but again, safety is a concern.

I'm located in Christchurch and given the bulky nature definitely would prefer someone local.

Cheers
