Our FUG is clear about commercial posts. At least if you post a shameless plug you should clearly state your interest in the company.

Not happy with your start here. I am quite close to the BAN button.

You also might what to get Photos that match the Product.

If I recall all the photos online the iPhone 4 does not look like a 3GS in the profile pic :S

Also best not to admit that you have not read the FUG - Not a Great Start

Just some constructive criticism no offence meant, but:

- You should probably lower the prices for the iPhones, since the Apple store is only a couple of dollars more

- Maybe make the logo a bit more professional, since it looks like Cowboy style writing and that usually rings alarm bells

- You should register your company on the Companies.govt.nz website, since the only Tech Brands I can find has been struck off(Guessing you might be using the Tech Brands Pacific which has been resreved on companies, best to get that up and running plus some form of GST account asap)

- Delivery times are misleading, I'm guessing they are mostly coming from Hong Kong drop shipping? So could be anywhere from 5-14 days+

- You'll probably want to reword the "credit card verification policy" since no one i know would scan a photo of their credit card and send it over the internet. At least maybe get them to blank out the numbers. Although that will still cause trouble, because using gmask the original would be still available

- For login authentication/creating an account you want a secure connection, it's unsecure at the moment....not safe

- Apart from that, the cellphones on the site are too old. The only ones that are in the current generation are the X10 and the iPhone 4

- Most prices can be ripped apart by a quick Pricespy search, usually by 50-100 NZD

- Maybe put the phones in order for 2 Degrees(Ie GSM only), Vodafone 3G 900/2100, Telecom XT 850/2100, most of the phones on the site will only work with GSM according to the specs

haha, nice find on the WHOIS :)

Probably not good advertising since this will probably come up as the main website once Google spiders these threads...

Yes.. who is "techbrands.co.nz".

registrant_contact_name: Managing Director
registrant_contact_address1: PO Box 1223
registrant_contact_address2: City Centre
registrant_contact_city: Dunedin
registrant_contact_province: Otago
registrant_contact_postalcode: 9054
registrant_contact_country: NZ (NEW ZEALAND)
registrant_contact_phone: +64 3 4772213
registrant_contact_email: admin@nzdirectimports.co.nz

Can you get this fixed up.. Managing Director is not a indentifible person or company (which the rules says it has to be)

You note: Configured for New Zealand Networks.. Err.. are they? do you open the box up and put NZ Settings or Jailbreak or alike the iPhones?  with the iPhone 4 you can't.. Whats the country of source for the iPhones? are they factory unlocked or do you jailbreak them to make them work ? If so I see no disclaimer regarding this?

GST Invoice? Whats your real company? is Tech Brands Pacific Limited a registered company as it says on the companies office the name is just reserved as the post before

If somoene orders phones from outside NZ they are still paying GST. Will this be remo ved? I can't see GST anywhere on your website as above?
