So on Sunday morning my phone skipped ahead one hour automatically = expected.I have an alarm that's set to go off every weekday at 6:50am and no reason to expect that it wouldn't work.

So imagine my shock when my alarm decides to go off at 5:50am this morning instead! Bugger! Why 5:50? I have no idea ... I mean that's still 4:50 in the old standard time ...

Not to worry I think, I'll delete the alarm and create a new one and it should go off at the correct time ... well no, it doesn't go off at all and I sleep in.

If I create a new one off alarm it works at the correct time. But if I create an alarm for 5 days a week, it appears I need to set it one hour ahead. i.e. to go off at 6:50 I need to set it for 7:50.

Have noticed a couple of posts on the apple forum about this - http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=12335122&tstart=0 ...

... many other people here experienced it?

It's a problem, we know it now. It's not going to go away until the next iOS iterative release so in the meantime just set your repeating alarm an hour later than you need it, or set a manual alarm every day.

My experience was not as bad as you guys and I am NOT using repeating alarm.

I've set my alarm to go off at 8:50am but it seems the daylight saving changes turned off my alarm, however, the alarm icon is still showing on top of the screen.

Thanks to my 7th month old son for waking me up instead.

Same issue here. Rudely awoken at 6.20 instead of 7.20, but slept until 8.15 because I thought deleting and resetting the alarm would fix...

A colleague of mine tried hers by removing the existing alarm schedule. Then she tested it out by putting a new one in just few minutes ahead. That went off, so kinda proved that a "short term fix" is possibly by removing and reset new alarm schedule.

Does the US have daylight savings time? I imagine we won't see a timely fix while the issue only affects non US users. Cynical I know, but the contacts birthday issue still remains after I don't know how long.

Northern Hemisphere will be coming out from their Daylight Saving but that won't happen until a few more weeks and if the situation is reversed, they'll probably have an hour late.

Just tested with a few alarms and it seems to only affect repeating alarms. At least it's an hour early and not an hour late!

Shame the built in apps can't be updated like purchased apps. I guess we'll have to wait for a whole OS update before this is fixed.
