last week i just switch my ADSL2+ from telecom to slingshot, and that cause me 2 major issues.
1. ask them to cut me over at 27 or 28 Aug, but they cut me off the next day, end up i have to call them and they somehow have to put me into a temp plan (i applied for unlimited) they said they have to change me next month.
2. speed issues, before i cut over to slingshot i got around 6-7Mbps with telecom, after cut over i got 0.5-0.8Mbps (without anything running and connect to router), i never think slingshot as fast as telecom, but not as bad as this.
call slingshot tech, they said i should have 20-21Mbps, and ask me to do ping, pathping, tracert testing for few different sites. and send them the result.
they said it may take 1-5 days to solve it.
and then today i call them again. this guys told me it may take 10-28 days to get it resolve. and the worst is he said the line should have no issues and my equipment is the cause of the issues, and i am uploading would be one of them (around 10k-20k upload speed, which is not a issues when i with telecom). this really piss off.
i just applied spark vdsl 30 mins ago and hope they get it done ASAP.
if 10-20k upload will slow down my internet from 6Mbps to 0.5Mbps with slingshot internet then it's fine. i move on.
this is my experiences with slingshot.
to be fair slingshot may be able to fix my speed issues, but i just can't trust this unknown ETA. and they may end up said my equipment is the issue.
