I'm trying to change my broadband password online but no matter how complex I make my new password I'm not able to get past the password strength check.

I meet all the requirements (uppercase letter, lowercase letter, number, symbol and 18 character password length)

Anyone else having this issue?

Are you blocking scripts and stuff with "privacy" extensions?

I did try edge and chrome both have the same issue but edge did import my chrome settings so I'll try with Firefox as well.

Based on the replies I'll assume no one else is having an issue?

Ok this is working in safari so must be a blocked script on chrome. Thanks everyone.

Interesting as I had this same issue on a Windows system some months ago. Tried various browsers, wasted a lot of time, got frustrated and ended up doing the password reset over the phone with the nice people at support.

It's something that 2Degrees need to look at.

Not only that issue, but the naming of their various passwords. I actually have three 2Degree passwords, 2 of which apply here, but in addition there is a local modem password.

On the My Profile page there are two logins: "Change Login Password", Change Broadband Password" What login? What Broadband - website or modem service or local modem? There is no explanation on the password screens what these actually refer to - it would have been useful if there was. I consider myself reasonably adroit at these things, but was confused.

The help page was useful, but the Login Password is called the "Broadband Services Password" and the Broadband (ie website login) password is called "Your 2degrees (Broadband & Home phone) Password". Hmmmm.

I suggest to the support people who do monitor these page that more meaningful names and consistent naming would help. Reference should also be made to the local modem login password.

Nokia 6110, 6210, 6234, Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1, Huawei Ideos X5 (Windows Mobile), Samsung Galaxy SIII, LG G4, OnePlus 5, iPhone Xs Max (briefly), S21 Ultra. And I thought I hadn't had many phones - but the first one around 1997.
