Depends if you've moved already or not. If you have not moved yet then call Telecom and arange to have the phone moved to the new address if possible. Then call slingshot and ask to do a 'move address' and state the date that telecom have confirmed for your move of the phone service.

If you've moved to your phone number already to the new house then presumably your broadband would have stopped at the old address. Again call then up and get a new connection at the new address.

Just Broadband is a Naked DSL service and requires an existing phoneline for Slingshot to port it to Naked DSL.

Best to call Slingshot and ask them what your options are.

I'm a little confused. Just broadband is a naked ADSL plan, it doesn't have a phoneline so you don't have a phone number (unless you're talking about VoIP).

You really need to contact Slingshot to answer you question, because as pointed out above there is apaprently still a need to have a Telecom line for this to be provisioned on to.

Your guess is right sbiddle, the Just Broadband comes with iTalk Voip.
It should not be a problem keeping the same phone number.

thanks you guys

I am happy with the "just broadband plan".

am I am sure the new house has an active telecom phone line.

I believe what slingshot might do is converting that phone line to slingshot naked DSL plan agin and just move my account and voip number on top of it.

I'm sure if you just rang Slingshot they'd be able to help you. There is nothing unusual about your request, you simply need broadband reprovisioned on a new line.

2nd time, says cost me $100 intotal, cant explain why

3rd time, says it might cost $29.95 only as justbroadband is just brandband service.

very interesting~!~~~!
Cool

so my request is not comman at all as justbrandband is a new plan (just coming out this year) ~~~

and I felt myself a guinea pig

thanks Mate

A charge of $49.95 will apply for moving your homeline rental.

A charge of $29.95 will apply for moving your broadband service.

What do you think?

Is justbrandband the naked DSL plan should be only classified as brandband service

( cost $29.95 to move house)

or

the combination of homline rental and brandband service??

(cost $29.95 + $49.95 = $79.9)

if you already have LL & BB plan wiht telecom call slingshot. They will port your BB connections, disconnect your phone and set you up with a VOIP phone with the same number (if you wish). There is no charge to dothis but a six month contract applies.
The monthly charge is $79.95

oops sorry - didn't read properly.

it would make sense that if you have Just boradband and want to move Just broadband then the fee would be $29.95
