The all you can eat plan is ok for our household.
It gives us a set price to pay, no extras.
It's not really good for ftp speeds on non standard ports(expect 30-60KB/sec), On the standard port (21) you'll maybe get around 100KB/sec, also not the best, but at least there's no worries with overage.
Our household was on the pro(25 GB + free offpeak) plan prior to switching, speeds have definately dropped, but now we aren't having to buy extra traffic, usually a 50 pack every second month, so this works out slightly cheaper for us.
There is of course a large drop in attainable speed.
Http downloads are at around 200KB/sec(down from 1MB/sec or so) but I would assume that popular filesharing sites would be further limited.
Can't comment on bit torrent as it's rarely used here.
Streaming is decent, no buffering issues so far.
TVNZ on Demand plays fine at 700k.
For the most part the connection is stable, there have been a few times dsl has been in sync and yet no net access though so there may be some issues.
Support wise, I find them very lacking. So if you sign up for it, just hope for the best setup wise ;P
So overall, quite OK. I only expected 2-4mbits for an unmetered service, and it's living up to that expectation.
For those that expect more speed, you really ought to be looking at pay for traffic type services.
